Seems like this guy isn't getting the love he deserves, or maybe I've missed it. I love how he plays with such speed and power, he was flat nasty in our first preseason game, especially in 3rd and long situations. As good as he was on the field he might have been even better on the RRR, love to see this guy blend with the locker room so well. His versatility on the line is just what we needed, i'm calling Pro Bowl for this guy.

He was THE free agent that I wanted the Hawks to sign this past offseason, so I was super psyched when they announced they had signed him. Just a tenacious football player with that great blend of power and speed like you noted.

And I love him on RRR too. He seems like a very down to earth and wise man. Funny as well. There was an interview he gave towards the beginning of camp, it's one of the best listens I've heard from a Seahawk so far this year. I think he puts up a great season and the Seahawks bring him back next year.

IMO, he will be the greatest of all the Seahawks newcomers this year, rookies included. Monstar season coming up!

This is the guy that wanted to come to Seattle. Said when his agent told him Seattle called for a visit, he told his agent to cancel all other visits. He wasn't going to leave Seattle without a contract. Said he never wanted to leave and wanted to come back.

This might be my favorite addition this off season.

It's going to take some time for him to get all the love he deserves, but the Friday after the Chargers game, his name did show up quite a bit.

Really, it's been fairly quiet on the board for a couple days because a Thursday to Saturday wait is too damn long.

He just needs to make a few impact plays and he will be on everyone's radar very quickly. He is going to have a big role this year, and we are really going to need him with all the injuries going on with the other pass rushers

He might be an actual upgrade over Jason Jones, which is pretty impressive.

There's really no comparison. Bennett is miles better than Jones.

He's already done more for this team then Jason Jones did and we haven't even started the season. I'm thinking when we're talking MVP of this defense at the end of the year we'll be throwing out names like Thomas, Wagner, Sherman and Bennett. Dude is a Beast.

I'm in the same exact camp. My buddies couldn't understand why I was so high on him. I hope he plays how I think he will this year.

He never should have been allowed to leave in the first place.

Oh, well, can't change the past. But welcome back, Mike!

I wouldn't go that far. Maybe I'm in the minority, but until Jones got hurt last year, I thought he played really well for us. However, I do think Bennett is going to be better over the course of the year.

Me too. If anything, I was really bummed that we only got him on a 1 year deal.

Well, if he does play out of his mind then maybe you renegotiate Bryant and or Rice and let McQuinston and Breno go to keep him. Especially if suddenly 3rd and long turns into what we hope it will, and not the usual miraculous conversion.

Guy was nails in the 1st preseason game. He has my love because he is fulfilling the role he was brought here for. Interior push/rush.

Yeah i really like M. Bennett did'nt think Tampa would let'em go after 9 sacks. He's definitely underrated but i think he'll earn some recognition with the time this secondary can give him to get to the QB. He's also playing with a shoulder injury so it shows he's a gamer and willing to play through pain i bet he gets an extension.
