I wish Wilson the best going forward.
The only player I feel confident in saying they don't like Russ is Sherman. Kam, Wagner, DK, Lynch, Cliff Avril, Bennett, Lockett, multiple players in Denver etc. all stick up for Russ. Bennett just killed Sherman for his goofy take on Russ. Lynch picked him for his all time team and said he was a top 5 teammate of all time in another interview. Even Baldwin in an interview said he was a HOF type player.Ok, so who are the players on that team that straight up came out and said they don't like him. Remember before you answer, I've followed this team awful close over the years.

Who am I missing? Who hates Russ other than Sherman?
Except it was all about the bag, but, the bag he was chasing was as unique as is the style of the game at which he excelled. It wasn't about securing the bag, he already had a bag. And was guarenteed getting another bag regardless the situation. .
He left because he and Carroll knew it was either going to be one or the other. RW wanted a competent Oline, Carroll had his own vision. RW saw the writing on the wall and created his own opportunity to part ways. I'd have done the same damn thing.
It's just good business sense, and the fact that people are salty about it, and take it personal, tells me one, they don't know how today's NFL works, and two, damn sure don't know how business works. Nobody is loyal anymore. Nobody. Larry Fitzgerald was one of the last of a dying breed. It's all about the bag now. Talk about being Naive....
I've heard the takes from Sherman.. He doesn't pull any punches when it comes to RWs career. Thats for sure. He's definitely an advocate for letting folks know, the LOB won that chip, not RW..The only player I feel confident in saying they don't like Russ is Sherman. Yeah he needs to have "NO" people around him. His "yes" people suck.
Tate and Sherman aren't very liked either as Bennett just clowned him publicly. I just think this idea that all his teammates not liking him is way overstated by some on here.Golden Tate for one. I didn't say hate by the way.
There's a difference between hating and not being friends with someone. I like my boss but I'm not friends with him.
How many seahawks went to Wilson's wedding for example?
My point earlier was more i don't think people would vote for the guy in politics and I stand by that.
I also liked Wilson as a seahawks, best qb the franchise has ever had.
His Mercedes has a bumper sticker that says "GOD is my YES man (or woman if Ciara's watching)"FIFY.
I had no idea. My interactions with her were good, enjoyed them. I guess I missed whatever it was.
Pure speculation here: SCH might engaged in heated rebuttals when her opinions were challenged.I had no idea. My interactions with her were good, enjoyed them. I guess I missed whatever it was.
He will be on an NFL roster next year. Colby Brissett made a dang roster this year and started games. Phillip Rivers hadn't played in 5 years.
Russ isn't Colin Kaepernick - his views don't create animosity or divisiveness in the locker room or in the community. He's not a distraction. Annyoying? Yes. Self-important? Yes.
I personally don't care because he won't be playing for the Hawks ever again. And that's HIS fault.
His portfolio would disagree with you.I find it difficult to "move on" when the thought if him being a broadcaster has been everywhere and a focus of this thread. I believe most Seahawk fans would love to just live with the memories of the QB that we all loved to watch. But, as is his right, he really tries to be in the spotlight all the time in every environment. To me, that's an invitation to be discussed and, again- to me, it's really annoying. When the suggestion to just "move on" is given, I honestly wish RCW would do just that. While he's still asking to be noticed, his recent train wreck of a career and atrocity of "pitch-man" is 100% valid.
I guess we just disagree on what makes a man a success. His portfolio would disagree with you.![]()
