Was it this thread or the Cubs thread.... someone said "Is it me or does julio not even look at the ball when he swings etc" Was on my phone couldnt respond

But Ive been saying this to my wife for the last 2 months LOL.. so whoever said it.. I'm on your side.

Swinging at straight down the middle or low pitches but hes looking at the outfield even in the slow mo replay.. no eye on the ball what so ever....

What our coaches use to harp on us in freakin tee ball basically. Watch the ball not the destination...
Yeah if he could start keeping his head down on the ball he’d stop swinging at junk and square it up but it does look like when he misses he’s looking in left field. If he cleans that up look out

Meanwhile, the CHEATSTROS are what 15-5 this month? Something like that. Ugh
And the we are the team they've played over .500 besides the Guardians

They have a very favorable schedule so far

EDIT: Sorry the Rays too but split that

Even when he contributes.....we hear this rubbish. Again. That is a ridiculous take, even for dot net. You actually believe he doesn't look at the ball?? That's even worse than a take from the dude I put on ignore. Glad I stopped by.
Thanks for the laugh. This is a blast 🤣🤣

/sarcasm
Your /sarcasm really throws me here lol....Not sure which part you were /sarcasm ..... The "this is a blast"?

I love Julio.. my daughter has his autograph two times now... one on a pink ball one on a foul caught....

But yes...? I think? I do actually believe this watching the games almost EVERY DAY....especially when they show slow mo replays... while attending over 22 games this year with my daughter

Do YOU watch the games? IM just as critical as you.... but are you being obtuse for the sake of it? This mans head is flaying when he over swings, especially on 2 strike counts.

Mastro's turning it around, Solano figuring things out, Julio fighting his way back to relevance, Raley and Canzone coming back, the bullpen pulling it out of their asses, Polanco deciding it's not May anymore at least...and suddenly we're one of the best offenses again? I love this sport.

Baseball is a trip. In a good way. Gotta love that game winning Sac Fly without even looking at the ball. Amazing 😅

It's a game of streaks. The trick is to maximize the up times and minimize the down times.

Easy, right?

Wildly enough Mastro has had a great last 30 AB's.
He's been playing less often. Not starting everyday & getting over-exposed. He & D-Mo are role players with specific limitations. They've tried to force feed them into the starting lineup at times for 4-5 games a week.

And back when he was playing 4-5 games a week he was hitting substantially better. 🤷‍♂️

For a short period of time, then he got over exposed & has been horrific since. He got lucky & hit a few HR's EARLY & started swinging for the fences. In June, he's basically been Polanco of May. Solano has rocketed past D-Mo in everyway. Mastrobouni & D-Mo are 1 start a week players on a real roster, if even 1 start.

Tough game. Kirby with a quality start, but no offense to speak of. 3 singles won't get it done.

Oh well, sweeps are hard to do, especially 4 game series. Tomorrow is another day, if we get to play. More rain possible. Would be nice to finish it on time for the next stage of the road trip.
