Yeah you just said that
Yeah and I'll say it again. Pussified pitchers. OMG...Don't let them get past 100 pitches...What a crock.

You're not grasping core concept (shocker):
Nothing to do with their "toughness."

Really? you want to elaborate on what is considered tough?...Since you are a lover of a sport where dudes fake injuries regularly?
Pitchers in MLB are pussies these days. They can't get past 6 or 7 innings. Prove me wrong. Soccer BOY

Nolan Ryan and Frank Tanana weren't on pussified pitch counts. They DOMINATED for entire games. These "new" pitchers need to be protected because they don't have the athleticism to go 9 innings.
It's sad. but true

He tells me about how it would be surprising if a guy wouldn’t throw a complete game. He told me some guys would pitch both games in a couple header. Baseball has definitely made a shift to the bullpen, just look at the Brewers.
For every Nolan Ryan and Tom Seaver and Warren Spahn and, and, and....there was a Sandy Koufax who had to retire at 30 at the height of his career so he could still pick up his car keys at age 60 due to arthritis in his pitching elbow or a Dizzy Dean or, or, or....Largent80":333vohl5 said:Pitchers have become glorified pussies that can't finish a game. Pretty much this. We all knew this was coming. That amazing run at the start of the season kind of skewered everybody's expectations, but DiPoto is sticking to the original plan and that's a good thing. I think they'll try to hang onto Seagar, but maybe not. Santana is probably next. Or maybe Gordon. Between Crawford, Beckham, and Moore the middle infield is probably set for the next couple of seasons. Vogie can handle 1st Base if needed, or Healey is coming off the IL soon. That would be a decent platoon there.I feel like EE was supposed to be moved for a bigger deal before the season but the deal never manifested so this is what they fell back on.

It's really millions and millions..It is not just a couple and I'm not getting how you have
the funds..The funny thing is the guy is not done yet..Seager and Gordon will be going.
It's part of the penalty for bringing those old guys in. Unless they can play out their entire deal, it will cost a team to unload them.Uncle Si":1hoke7sf said:IndyHawk":1hoke7sf said:I'm trying to wrap my head around paying someones contract so a trade can happen..

You're not getting anything for a 36 year old without paying the salary. MLB has changed a bit in that regard.
