Now they can really get down to business ruining him and wasting his talent.

Jeff Fisher is coaching the rams and Bud Adams died, so he might not get ruined or have his talent wasted.

I agree Whisenhunt is worse Fisher.

Whisenhunt is not nearly as awful as Fisher. Whisenhunt was OC for the Stealers when they "won?" the Super Bowl. He then took the freaking ARIZONA CARDINALS to the Super Bowl. He then took the Chargers to a top 5 offense in his only year in San Diego. He was bad in AZ after Kurt Warner left, but what team wouldn't get worse if their franchise QB up and quit on them?

What the hell has Fisher done that even comes close to what Whisenhunt has done? Is there even a top five unit on either side of the ball under Fisher?

Fisher rode the coattails of Buddy Ryan in his early years as a coach. He then had one of the worst records in the NFL as DC of the Rams. Relegated to defensive backs coach with the niners for three years before getting handed the DC job with the Oilers and then handed the head coaching job several years later. Fisher was tight with Bud Adams and I think that is the only reason he got either job with that team. He definitely didn't "earn" it.

Whisenhunt has shown a complete inability to develop a QB. Worthlessberger didn't start having great numbers until Arians took over in Pittsburgh. Before that, he was more of a caretaker than most people accuse Russell of being. He completely destroyed Leinart, Kolb and Locker. He was good in SD because he had Rivers, and in Arizona he had Kurt Warner.

I'd still choose Whiz over Fisher. I don't see a developed QB on Fisher's resume either. Whiz can get good QBs to play well, which is more than Fisher has ever done.

Fisher is a defensive-minded coach, while Whisenhunt figures out how to screw up QBs all on his own.

Entering his 7th season as a HC, Whisenhunt has never coached a team to better than 10 wins. Fisher has coached five such teams to over ten wins in his 20 years as a HC. Neither is very good, but I rank Whisenhunt a few notches below Fisher. Maybe that has to do with my preference for experienced defensive coaches.

Look at the teams Whiz had. Those were some awful defenses and he was still working with the Bad Bidwill those years. I can't find the decent QB that has had a bad year with Whiz., but I can find a slew of under performing defenses led by Fisher.

For me, Fisher is like the Tarvaris Jackson of the coaching World. Neither are good at what they do and both have people believing that they are much better at their job than actual results show.
