I know we've always had enough of the Chiefs and they're winning and so on but he seems like a pretty decent dude not only tore his ACL but his LCL

He is a good dude. Seeing him injured sucks. And I'm sick of KC. He's an all time great, a good dude and fun to watch play.

I don't know if he's a good person or not, just what's projected
in commercials, edited articles and what his media team floats
out there.
His father and brother got arrested multiple times; That's a fact.
He has been a good player and teammate by all accounts but
outside of football, I can't assume anything.
His knee injury sucks for him just like anyone else who gets hurt.
I'm very happy the KC dynasty is over!
It was over before he got hurt and t's over after he comes back,
his cap hit for 2026 is $76 million. Ha Ha

Your prerogative to believe that way, but shit people in his position typically can't keep the image polished as long as he has. I willing to give him the benefit of the doubt on that one.

Hate to see the injuries but not losing any sleep over Quiefs elimination. Much as I dislike the 49ers I feel like they got robbed of a SB like when Hawks played Pittsburgh.

It always cracks me up when KC fans and players complain about refs.

Fair enough. Just seems more like because he plays for KC. But oh well. He's a hell of a player and by all accounts a hell of a dude.

You don't know Russ either, but I'm sure you have the opinion that many do 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣

Agreed.

I read once where a few years ago, Mahomes and his then girlfriend went into a restaurant in the KC area and no one came up to him and asked for a signature, etc. Mahomes was so impressed that he bought all the patrons in the restaurant their dinners/bar bills.

The guy seems like a good dude, but I'm still tired of seeing him, Andy Reid, and Jake from State Farm.

Mahomes stands a good chance of being an entirely different QB when he comes back from this injury. Double whammy on the knee is a really tough one to deal with.

Brady won 4 Super Bowls after tearing his ACL and MCL.

Brady was an entirely different style player than Mahomes is. You are lumping mules and Shetlands in with horses as though they are all the same. They aren't. Mahomes may have to adapt to a different style of play than what he is currently accustomed to.

Problematic stressed

"They aren't the same exact player" of course they aren't.

And if I mentioned Kyler Murray you would have said, "but Murray hasn't made a deep playoff run," despite returning to the mobile threat he was before the injury.

Maybe I should have used McNabb, oh, but he never won a bowl.

Or Saquon Barkley, Gronk, and Bosa, who need similar mobility, oh but they aren't QBs

Or how about Tyler Lockett, who had a worse injury, and adapted his game to have a lot of success afterward?

The point is, an ACL tear is not an inevitable death sentence, and many players have come back from them to enjoy success, even if they had to adjust their game to a new reality.
