The Seahawks have yet to activate Abraham Lucas from the PUP list, but a new report suggests the team remains optimistic about his availability for Week 1.

I am less worried now that we have George Fant who may not be pro bowl worth but he may just be adequate.

A lot of the offense's issues last year can be traced to the poor O-line play, starting with both Cross and Lucas being hurt in the first game. Lucas ended up playing in 6 games and he never got back to full health.

We can't have a repeat of last year with Stone Forsythe and Jason Peters or someone of their ilk getting a lot of snaps. Hopefully the interior O-line will be better with the additions we've made, but that remains to be seen.

I'm always a "glass half full" kind of person this time of year, but we'll see. Big men and lingering knees aren't something you ever want to hear. They should be planning otherwise until it happens.
