When he was in.. it was noticeable. Our guards and Center are meh.. Olu I’ll cut some slack to. He needs to learn and grow and there’s only 1 way to do that.

I mentioned the same in another thread. Our line held up way better with Lucas in there. There were several times Geno dropped back to pass and had enough time to take a nap. Having quality bookends on the line is vital to the offense. Still have a ways to go but keeping Lucas healthy will make it possible.

Maybe that’s what JS is saying about the IOL stuff. With two “quality bookends on the line”, the IOL will systematically be better.

Hope he is back for good. Dude is a mauler, I'd say our best man in there when fully healthy. Pass pro significantly better, just wish we could open some lanes in the run game, that's our biggest and mainly the only real issue I seen today.
