Nice write up today in the news tribune about our new Kicker and his ties to the local area and the Seahawks.

I thought the most interesting part was at the end of the article where they discussed his tryout. It says that he kicked one for 55 yards. I know that kicking in tryouts does not translate directly to kicks in games, but knowing he has that kind of leg, and his history of accuracy, gives me more confidence in his coming in and holding down the spot for the rest of the playoffs.

55 yards eh? That's pretty damn good for a 38 year old leg. Hell, that's good for any leg! Nice to know he can at least physically make it that far should the game come down to a long field goal attempt.

Just checked his stats. He hit from 53 just last year with Minny and had 19 touch backs. Not bad considering what's available this time of year...

I still want Morten Andersen. He's probably still money from 30 yards... but on a serious note: This team just seems destined to haunt the Green Bay Packers organization...

Lets hope he hits the game winner with 2 seconds on the clock in regulation, what a story that would be!

hopefully all he has to do is kick extra points :D
5 or 6 of them at least.

:D

Wouldn't mind one of those shots from 50+ with 2 seconds left before the half. Just for Shiz and Giggles.

Off the turf inside the dome...why not take one from 60?
