Brandon LLoyd might be worth a look, he is a little older but he is a pretty decent deep threat. I remember having him 2 years ago on my fantasy team and he was catching 50+ yard touchdowns left and right it seems.

he's also only 6' so he doesn't really do anything that Kearse can't do whle being younger and being developed into a long term solution. He was also not retained by the Patriots, who went into the season in a very poor WR situation, so that should tell you something about their medical evaluation of him.

Seattle Seahawks ‏@Seahawks 2m

WR Sidney Rice has been placed on injured reserve & WR Ricardo Lockette has been signed to the active roster from the practice squad.

Seattle Seahawks ‏@Seahawks 2m

In addition, WR Josh Lenz has been signed to the practice squad.

If Jordan Shipley has been cleared, he'd be intriguing. Wasn't M. Clayton a half-decent tall receiver that might fit in?

Oh, I guess we went with Lockette. Maybe he's had a recent brain transplant so he can understand a playbook now.

He's been noted as a very weird person and is basically mentally unstable. Think about how bad the Pats WR core is right now, it's worse than ours and they didn't even re-sign him although he had close to a 1000 yard season for them last year.

Reports this morning were that Schneider called Deion Branch to ask about his availability but Branch tore his hamstring getting off of his futon attempting to answer the phone.

Deion Butler. Man there is name I never thought I would see on a list like that. The year he broke his leg on that touchdown for us I was a huge fan and I had high hopes on his comeback. Anybody know what his health situation is looking like?

Health situation is pretty good... Except for the peg leg, of course.

3 guys that would be somewhat intrguing from that list -

Ramses Barden - Big WR, still young. 6'6, 224 pds.
Laurent Robinson - Had good season couple of years ago in Dallas. 6'2, 205 pds. Very fast.
Brandon Lloyd - Proven WR. Surprised that the Pats didn't re-sign him.
