It seems appropriate that Les would be the first thread in this memorial forum. I will add to this post when I have more time. Please post any and all of your memories and thoughts about The Grandfather of .NET.

Les was my only friend in town when I first moved to Spokane and was a big help to me. I still miss him as he was taken way too soon.

I can't believe he's been gone for almost 12 years. Time sure flies. So happy he got to see his Seahawks win a championship. I still have a vintage Seahawks beer glass he sent me years ago. Will forever cherish it. RIP Les.

I didn't have the opportunity to know Les personally but from my experiences with him on here, he was one of the good ones. He always treated everyone with respect. He was the first to welcome me to .NET when I joined. RIP Les.

I’m sure Les watched from above as we did it again.
He was a truly magnificent human being and I will always be glad that I met him and Darlene when I visited Seattle for a game in 2008. I still have all my private messages from him. I sometimes go through them just to remember him. He was the best moderator this site ever had. RIP Les, you are always remembered.

Aros was the owner but Les the soul of .Net, Birthdays, passings, welcoming new members, and site Psychologist, he just knew by your posts if you were a bit off or if something was bothering you, he was also my mentor as a Mod, tried to emulate a lot of the things that made him so good at it. Was known for his posting of I guess we call them Dad jokes now, but yes you laughed because they were that bad many times. RIP my oh so missed freind.
