I am stunned at everyone talking about "rebuilding year" and saying we won't make the playoffs, 8 win team etc. @ years ago we won the superbowl and last year we were in it and barely lost, nearly going back to back. We lost games to the rams, the majority of the games even. We lost this game in overtime by a field goal and a broken play on 4th down to keep us moving. We don't look as good as we like, but we are good at adjustments. We might lose next weeks game as well and start out 0-2. I think we might even need to lose that game to get some fire back. I still feel like crap, but as the OL gets better and we start to use graham and lockett more, it will open up. Remember how we started last season? We went 3-3, and the rams beat us at home our sixth game, not our first.

"barely lost" the SB

There is the issue. Teams that lose SBs have a tendency to fall apart the next year. It is not a curse, there is a reason it tends to happen and we could have very well fallen into that trap. We will see.
