Rumors are swirling that the Giants are trying to trade Kayvon Thibideaux and that seattle has checked in on that.

He was injured some last year.

Also was rumored to be inconsistent after a bust out 2023 with 11.5 sacks.

The thinking is he can be had for little capitol like a day 2 pick. Playing his Rookie deal out this year.

What do you guys think?

According to a source close to the #Seahawks, GM John Schneider spoke with #Browns GM Andrew Berry about the possibility of trading for DE Myles Garrett.

The source added it was a "serious inquiry" but a trade isn't imminent.

Schneider reportedly also talked to someone in the #Giants front office regarding a possible trade for DE Kayvon Thibodeaux.

The source described Thibodeaux as a "legitimate trade target" for Seattle.

On Apr. 7, @Ian_OConnor of @TheAthletic reported New York would be "compelled" to move the edge rusher if offered a late second-round or early third-round pick.

There is no indication any talks are in an advanced stage, and it's possible Seattle's interest was merely due diligence.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Leonard Williams chimed in on this to the team as they played together on the Giants.

He seems like the strong minded opinionated strong personality type, which fits well in our room if he wants to win, I can see that type of personality potentially losing faith on a bad team and taking plays off, he doesn't otherwise strike me as a lazy...

I don't like the possible price tag. Last year of his Rookie deal. I thought he was overdrafted.
I think we have leverage, JS prove-it deal classic, but won't he have a year left?

I think it's 14.7 million 5th year. So that's not bad. But if he is good and does well it is free agency? Or does the 5th apply to a different team?

The Seahawks took Thibideaux off there draft board because of character issues. But now they want him? Is it not funny that the Seahawks are always rumoured to be interested in every player in the block.

Not 'Tough, Fast, Smart and Reliable'. If he were, he wouldn't be up on the trading block... pass!

He's a disrupter, but I worry about his health...

Neither interest me.

Kayvon, lazy. Was on a winning team in Oregon and took plays off.

Myles Garrett, getting old. Injuries will start soon and price tag is not worth it. What player on the Seahawks would you cut to get Myles on the payroll? And don't say "They can rework contracts to get money, because they never do that.

We were an elite defense last year without adding some elite prospect. To spend on an "elite" prospect would be Pete Carroll all over again.

Percy Harvin, Jimmy Graham, etc, etc, etc... You want to screw up the MOB Mentality? Add an "elite" prospect like Thibadeux are Garrett. You're telling your defense "All that hard work, sacrifice, and putting your teammate first? Doesn't matter."

Hard no! We are not the Jerry Jones of the Northwest!
