He's not a big name, but he's done fantastic work with Alabama's secondary under Saban.
This points to a continuing evolution away from the cover-3 looks of the early 2010s. Baffles me how anyone could say the defense hasn't been making big changes.

I think 2021 was a year of defensive change and experimentation. More so than any other previous year that I can remember. Looking forward to more reveals as to the emerging trends and changes.
I see that Ed Donatell has emerged as the favorite for the Vikings defensive coordinator position. Viking fans should be happy with that news.
Apparently, Sean Desai is also still in picture.
