Seriously, how many people predicted K.J. Wright would line up as a Cornerback against Jimmy Graham and own him? K.J. was a unsung defensive hero last night (among many).

41 yards for one of the NFLs best recievers.... I mean Tight Ends? Yea pretty incredible for a linebacker.

KJ is getting some national attention, about time too. One of the most underrated linebackers/players in the league.

It proves to me that the defensive scheme works and it's not necessary to drastically alter the game plan by switching a players role for the sole intention of stopping one player. Think the quite frequent suggestion of (hypothetically due to circumstance) putting Browner in the slot to stop a Gonzalez/Graham or moving Earl Thomas to corner to stop a speedy WR because you don't like Browner on a speedy WR.

No single weakness is going to stop this team. In Pete I Trust

Does anyone else think this was the best game the linebackers have had as a group?

From a pure fan perspective i think so. Looking forward to Dave Wyman's take.

KJ Wright had a career game.

I thought Sean Payton saw an opportunity to put Wright in trail for some big play strikes. KJ Wright clearly surprised ..... he proved up to the challenge on Monday night football. Looking at the specticle from the outside-in, there seems to be more of a no fear approach to inviting opponents to challenge and target defenders including linebackers playing in trail coverage.

The defense shined last night. Nobody shined brighter than KJ Wright. There are few teams that are as comfortable to take their chances with linebacker coverage in trail.

Remarkable performance.

"When I watched the film this morning here I was looking to see what did he do that got everybody's attention, and he did the regular stuff," Carroll said. "He saw the screen play and he jumped it about two or three times, he played really good, aggressive, man-to-man coverage on the tight end when he had his chances. He did make a couple spectacular plays on the ball down the field."

I love the confidence the coaches have in every player on this team. Some people thought we would have to put Sherm or Thomas on Graham to stop him. Nope, KJ Wright and Byron Maxwell will do just fine.
