Good for him. Everyone deserves a 2nd chance to show who they really are.
His fall from grace was so weird, that I always wondered if he had some kind of emotional, or nervous breakdown where he was overwhelmed by the job of Head Coach and didn't know how to handle it.
Also nice that the Rams lose two important pieces of their coaching staff. Lake was assistant head coach and defensive assistant. I wonder if he was offered the DC coordinator job for the Rams before he left for Atlanta? There have been rumors of Brandon Staley returning to be DC in LA.
I never thought he was that great as DC for the Huskies. Amazing secondary coach but felt he rode the coat tales of Kwiatowski a bit. He might have learned more since. (I won't bring up the HC stuff)
