Jimmy Graham's Fully Restored Beaver

I just like this guy's vibe. Has legit flying skills, is a pretty low-key/profile personality off the field, and just does his thing.

That classic '57 Beaver seaplane is sick! See those up in the San Juans all the time.

Jimmy seems to be living right. Hope he has a YUGE 2017 season.

As the Seahawks prepare to begin their offseason program on Tuesday, Graham took to Instagram this morning and updated fans about his flight across the country from Miami to Seattle. Graham, a certified pilot, began preparing for his trip roughly a week ago.

In his post, Graham detailed how long the trip took, saying the following: “Miami-Seattle the 1957 Army Beaver flew like a warrior! 3.5 days, 27.7 hours of flying, 637 gal of fuel, 5.5 gal of burned oil, 9 diff airports,13 states averaging about 90 mph only a few thousand feet off the ground. Sometimes hundreds! We are both back where we belong ready to continue working.”

DHC-2, such a beautiful airplane. Between that, the Turbine Beaver, Single Engine Otter, and the Twin Otter (Twotter), DeHavilland built some of the toughest, best performing remote aiport plans on the face of this plane, if not THE best.

I was fortunate enough to fly Turbine Beavers, and they felt so solid, smooth Pratt & Whitney PT6 and balanced ailerons. You could fly it with your fingertips.

He couldn't have picked a better airplane.
