OMFG, Saleh has probably signed his own death warrant. Did Matt LaFleur talk him into it, to get even for Saleh letting his brother go?

He did fine as the Packers OC from 2019-2021. Packers had the highest scoring offense in 2020 while he was the OC there.

Wasn't LaFleur calling plays though? Maybe another ploy by a team to get Aaron Rodgers?

Plenty of guys are very good coordinators, but can't cut it as head coach. He's also very good friends with Erin, so who knows, maybe the Jets trade for him.

It looks like we might see Erin in green and black/white instead of green and yellow next season

Seems steep but I could see the Jets doing it instantly being much better. Hackett and Rogers were a perfect fit together

Two first round picks for a QB who's going to turn 40 next season and has been waffling about retirement? The Jets would be doing the Packers a bit of a favor trading for him so they could move on to developing their next QB and possibly get some CAP relief. Maybe one first and a little something else if he hits some performance objectives.

Can't hurt to ask, though.

Didnt this same scenario happen last year with Denver? Hire Hackett, hope for Erin, grab Russell after Erin didn’t move? This Hackett, who hired Rosberg to do play calling for him? Word was Hackett didn’t do play calling in GB either.

Hackett is Rodgers-bait, but isn't a horrible coordinator in his own right.

Did a decent job with Jacksonville with Bortles at the helm and subsequently in GB

Lol. Seriously, the main Things Russ needs to do in off-season don’t require multimillion dollar coaches.

1. Lose the dad fat. Toffee says he has equivalent fat but Toffee is a retiree playing golf. Russ came in at 206 and looks 230. Guy doesn’t need people feeding him 5000 calories a day and calling it a diet. His chefs, nutritionists get creative on preparing kale and spaghetti squash and by July it’s less of an issue.

2. Hire some critics for your personal staff. Yes, it’s nice to have yes men youve known since childhood until you are made An international laughingstock. Any competent pr person would have told you that Twitter clips of you advertising that you were wearing Dolce and Gabbana, or that vid you made simulating doggie to sell Team3 perfume won’t go well. Just like the Dangerwich and Mr Unlimited didn’t. You need a pr team and Frankly a personal qb coach, nutritionist, etc whose Job is to improve you or at least not let you embarrass yourself in public.

You have to want to see it, Russ.
