Now I think you’re being sarcastic again
Greg Cosell agrees with me on Shough, me and young Cosell, on same page. When Schneider drafted Shough, please remember you saw it here first :)

With a Geno extension imminent. Shough would be best served going to a team needing a QB now rather rather than wait 1-3 years. Jets, Titans and Browns would be good candidates.

Geno ain't signed yet, and even after he was signed to a very team-friendly lowball contract, he can still be traded.

Can, but wont
As football fans looking from the outside we don’t know what will happen there is a lot of information we are not privy to. There is going to be a pissing contest between Geno’s agent and John Schnieder and who will break. In addition to Geno will sign a fair deal, a deal isn’t made and he plays on his current deal which isn’t preferred but would be better than signing a long term deal that isn’t team friendly or they trade Geno. If they don’t sign Geno Shough becomes a very real option

I personally feel that Geno gets re signed and if Seahawks do draft a QB he will be Quinn Ewers

Two things we can speculate:

There aren't any teams openly expressing their desire to sign Geno.
Seahawks haven't granted Geno the right to explore other teams like the Rams with Stafford.

The rest are smoke; no visible fire yet.

Geno is signed (under contract) for 44.5M in 2025. The only way he should be extended is if it has an easy out after every year and there was very little guaranteed/dead money involved. It would have to be very team friendly and not favorable to Geno and his agent.
JS may see it different, but I see it as if Geno wants another contract from Seattle, he will need to play out his 44.5M and contend for the division and make some noise in the playoffs.
Personally, I don't see Geno as a must have in pursuing double digit wins and he is definitely not the long term answer at QB. I like GS, I just think he got a late start on his career at a time of crazy salary cap contracts. If Geno had gotten a chance to start 25 years ago at 25 years old, I think he would have put a nice career together with the right team.
Late bloomer on the wrong side of 30.
Interesting moving forward, none of the above matters if the O-Line isn't upgraded.

Is Bo Nix a problem for the Broncos?
No nix was 24 last year. Plus he went to the right situation with Sean Payton. Can’t really compare the two. It’s not apples to apples. Maybe Shough in Seattle is the right situation. I don’t know, but if I had my choice of a 26 year old who never really did much on his 3 teams or a 21 year old who was always competitive against better competition. I’ll take the 21 year old even if he isn’t as ready.
