Does anyone actually know what that combination of finger contortions means?

Well, when I do it (as an almost-60-year-old white dude) it means "W", as in UW. But that's just me.

A double digit sack DT is way, WAY more rare than a double digit sack DE.
To the point that there were only two in the NFL last season. Jarran Reed and.......Aaron Donald.

I think you might have to throw the KC Jones dude in there even though he plays in a 3-4, but yeah, it's really really rare that a DT ever gets to double digits. Even Tez only did it once at 14 sacks. His next highest was 8, followed by getting 6.5 sacks 4 times...and you're talking about one pf the all time greats.

Welcome to the club. Just a couple of us have been pointing this out, and I 100% agree that Reed is by far the more rare talent. He will also cost less $$, and he helped run up Clarks numbers as well.

Yep. It’s a no brainer, IMO.

The thing that's always kind of annoying is, the season ended the beginning of January, the problem was known, and here he is getting surgery at the end of April. Oh well, whatever.

Those can heal on their own, and it is only 4-6 weeks recovery so this issue is not really an issue in this case.
