Would love to see him in Seattle next year on a 'going for a ring' type deal.

Wouldn't be surprised if he was. Even though Seattle backed off their trade pursuit for Allen at the deadline, why be interested given our insane depth at the position? I'm guessing Allen has some big fans in the FO.

He and Moffit would Laurel and Laurel all day long.

I was just thinking the same thing. :)

Jared Allen is hilarious. I heard a crazy rumor recently that the front office was interested in him, but I don't know if there was any truth to it. I would love to see him in a Seahawks uniform.

LOL! Me too. What a very funny and entertaining guy. Him and Moffit seem to be cut from same die.

Since Moffitt left, the Seahawks definitely have a goofy white-guy shortage. And this one is a heck of a player!

Pretty funny and comes across a lot more intelligent than I thought he was.

Funny thing on perspective...they asked him about Bevell and the job he's doing here and Allen goes "man where were all those screens when he was here?"

The average Hawk fan on this site doesn't think Bevell has us throwing enough. Funny how perspective works.

Funny how necessity made him more receptive to the idea. That and Pete not tolerating the same ol slow-devoping plays while his QB got bludgeoned.

I suppose you could say we have 'insane' depth, but our guys aren't exactly interchangable as recent performance against the run shows. If we snagged Allen, it would be like having another Michael Bennet on the field. Avril would be packing his bags.
