Mike Shanahan in his book talks about Kyle as a teenager, IIRC he was trying to help Kyle run a mile in under 8 minutes (maybe it was 7?), and laying out training schedules for Kyle. Spoiler: Kyle eventually succeeded. I found it amusing, that Mike's kid was such a slug as a middle schooler. Somehow Kyle was able to actually get on the field in college at UT as a WR, had something like 114 career yards though.
