My thoughts on this are that one angle I saw airliner the ball and the other angle the shadows made it look like it touched. It was a catch but I see why they didn’t overturn it.

Physics. Ball headed down, then headed back up with only Kupp's fingers touching, but not pulling, the top part of the ball.
