I am most excited and confident that a championship is in our near (1-3 years) future. We have the team but as with every season, you need a few bounces your way.

Yup. And last season the ball bounced our way... a LOT...

And hopefully we didn't dip into this year's bounce quota.

We still need a solid draft. If we can regain a first round pick with a trade for Flynn perhaps, I would feel a lot better. Our history with Pete and John for draft picks is pretty darn good and keeps us young. Our free agent gains I have been great but losing a first round pick makes me nervous.

Same. But, we do still have our 2nd and 3rd round picks and yet have improved extensively with the free agents we've obtained.

No. Clemons is still hurt, Avril doesn't have a rep for stopping the run, Bennett appears to be a slightly better Jason Jones, and we need a 3 tech for 2 downs.

IMO Bennett is far superior to Jones- although I'd argue that they might as well play different positions. Jones is a natural 3-tech that is capable of playing DE but isn't very good at it. Bennett is more of a Justin Tuck type, capable inside but a star at the 5-tech. When Bennett gets sacks, they are so emphatic.

100% P&J'd and there is still the draft to go! I'm so excited I can barely contain myself. :icon_jig: It may not be next season, but there is a championship in the near future.
