However he did manage a PI keeping a Viking drive alive and then proceeded to let Wright beat him for a TD. Not the best outing for Sherman.

The pi was pretty bogus IMO but otherwise, yeah. Though who knows? Maybe he was lockdown for the rest of the game and we don't know because they never threw it his way.

I like that he had a lackluster game today. He'll be good and focused for the Saints.

Not a good day for Sherm. But not a problem, either. They need to include how many balls were thrown his way before commenting he had no picks, passes defensed etc.

With Browner being out i'm guessing that Sherm will get even less work and less stats then normal the next few weeks. Teams will be targeting our other cb's.

Tough game for Sherm giving up the TD and the PI call. Hopefully he will be ready to rock against NO

Saw Pete talking to him when he was sitting on the bench soon after either the penalty or the TD. He will use this to come back with a vengeance.

When SF stole Boldin in rather incestuous fashion, all I could think about was Browner. Boldin can muscle out most DBs, but that shiz won't fly vs. Browner. Now, for the 2nd time this year, it's possible we won't see Browner on Boldin. That really sucks. Not that I am concerned about Boldin, I just love seeing him beat at his own game...the way Sherm did him last time. I hope BB is back in time for N.O., if not SF. We will need all of our D in top shape for that, especially our bigger corners. Likely to be one of the biggest games in franchise history. If you're there, please be heard, lol.

The PI call was bogus. It was uncatchable by 15 yards, and it was a ticky-tack hand-check that should have been called holding at worst. Let's not hang that on him, alright?

Regardless, he was grabbing him because he was beat. He tried the same thing on the TD as well.

I've heard rumors he's injured? Anyone got any info on this?

Source? He had a sore hip last week and was held out of one practice. Was full go the next two practices. Where did you hear he was hurt?

There is no such thing as a healthy football player. Even the best players get burned once in a while. Not worried in the least.

I wondered how in the world he got blown up on that play. Being at the game I could not comprehend that was Sherm that was the one that got beat like that.

Guess he's human after all. :16:

Yeah, Sherm did not have his best game. Hopefully he brings his A+++ game against the Saints.
