I don’t know exactly what that means for us but I’ve set my recorder and figured I’d mention it here for those who may want to record it and see what they come out with. K9 is worth something in the trade market. That said, I believe he will be a Seahawk all year.

Walker's a ~7m back playing for 2.7m cap on the last year of his rookie deal. We could trade him for a 4th but you want depth at RB.

In my view Walker is the kind of player we should be trying to work out an extension with. He's 24, his reduced availability lowers the price tag, and the value to him of getting $20m guaranteed right now should be higher than it is to the Seahawks. First extensions are an effective way of extending the rookie contract benefit and nothing is risk free.
