Was just looking at this. Anyone know why Olu is inactive?

It’s crazy that in a span of <6 months Olu has fallen so out of favor.
Him being inactive is telling. Looks like he lost the starting job to Sundell.

It may simply reflect what the coaching staff is looking for at Center.

Sundell, like Conner Williams offers excellent athleticism, has an innate understanding of where defenders are going with better range and angles when taking on second level defenders. Just a better fit for where they seem to be going with their modern dynamic offense.

Edit: Sundell is versatile ...... possibly an emergency backup left tackle for this game.

As far as Olu is concerned, personally I think it’s as simple as flexibility. Whether he is the better backup center is something we don’t really know right now but I do believe there is likely more fall off if needed to play another position on the line.

If course it could be as simple as a minor injury that isn’t enough to keep him from practicing but makes him less an option on gameday.
