are (in no particular order)

1-Denver-elite QB/TON of receivers

2-New Orleans -elite QB/TON of recievers

3-New England -Never underestimate Brady and Belichick.

4-Chicago - Because they are my team.

Sooooo....anyone got a beef with that?! :141847_bnono:

At home, none of the above.

On a neutral field, Denver will be pretty tough. Although if you jam Peyton's receivers and throw the timing off he hasn't always been great. And we certainly have the CBs to do that.

Well, we play NO here at home later this year. We shall see. We have the ability to disrupt the Denver receivers and I just don't think the Patriots are making it into the title game.

And with a healthy roster, a pass rush that may not allow Peyton to stand back there all day either.

IMO, the broncos are like the 49ers, if CK didn't know how to run. Play them like we did the 49ers the other night .. our game easily.. as for thier Defense.. I still haven't seen anything that "worries" me they seem to get a little tunnel vision for either run or pass but not both

I respect Chicago, Green Bay, New Orleans, and Denver, but Seattle's best football beats anyone else's best football. The only team that can beat Seattle is themselves.

Only Seattle can beat Seattle at this point. The key pieces are in place everywhere but OL and that's mainly due to Okung's injury. At full strength Seattle is the most talented, best coached, and hungriest team in the NFL.

With that said, I expect some self-sabotage in a few games this year (Rams away). Also, Wilson needs to start getting it going. Kearly's referring to him as a future HOF seems wildly hyperbolic this season, whereas it was mere hyperbole last year.

But when the offense and defense fully function dear god, it's gonna be beastly.

I don't have a problem with this list. Those teams all match up well with us or have taken us to the brink before (Pats and Bears last year)

There's 31 teams that can beat us.

We are getting cocky. Lets come back down to earth, a little. Expect at least one surprise loss this year, happens to every great team.

Don't be thick. Fans can talk all the shit they want. You have no way, zero, of knowing if the actual players are over confident. And that is all that matters.

I suspect the players are appropriately confident. I think if you asked them this same question most of them would give an answer close to what I said, probably not Sherm but that's why we love him.

I am seeing a lot of these number one rankings go to folks heads a bit, hell its not something we have been used to hearing for a long time so I get it.

I'm with Pete On this one, telling Brock and Danny to "settle down" that it's only game two of a long season.

I just feel like its a little early to crown ourselves. Not week 2.

formula to beating us
1. Have to stop the run
2. Have TE's and RB's that can catch passes out of the backfield

Stop living scared. Whats wrong with talking trash and being cocky as a fan. Ya so there is a chance we might lose. That doesn't mean we should wait to win the superbowl to enjoy the team we have now. Part of the excitement of being a fan is believing in the team before they have done it.
