Penny is not that kind of back.

He is very fast. He is not quick.

Not a between the tackles guy, he is better on sweeps and running for the edges. On another team, he would be good.

Our blocking is piss poor and so he isn't going to get to the edge. At times, a defender will be in the backfield right after handoff.

He is a back that is best in space, like a bigger Sproles. And that is how you have to use him.

That isn't the kind of back that will do well against the Rams.

You can run on the Rams, all day, that DL is built to get pressure on the passer. But you have to run up the middle on them because the issue is their middling LB group.
