Can't find the specific tweet, but earlier saw that Seahawks would be very interested in Mathieau if he was released.

Please god no. He is the defensive version of Percy "Mr. Glass" Harvin. Talent is there, but the injury risk is gigantic

Heck of a player, but we already have a damn good Safety on this team. And he's only played in 66 or 80 games. Not that I wouldn't be stoked to have him on the team. Just seems like a team that is strapped for cap room, an extension for Earl would be better. But, nothing has happened yet, so we shall see......

Good player when healthy, ball hawking and disruptive, too bad God gave him a VW beetles body with a Ford F250 mentality and a MG Midgets reliability.

Aside from health concerns, what would he play? He's a FS/NCB. We have Earl and Coleman. I'm sure there's a way to get him on the field if we do sign him, but not sure it's worth it.

He’s a perfect pete Carroll type of defensive player, lots of flexibility with how he can be used. Injury history is concerning, he probably wants to go somewhere who offers a lot though.

That’s funny. I had an MG Midget for about a year. Put almost 300 miles on it!

If they sign him it will be because they just traded ET or are about to.
Would rather extend ET.

Absolutely this.

Whatever you hear first, expect the other to happen very soon after.

Honey Badger is a nickle back in Seattle's scheme. Seattle isn't interested I surmise.

Or he doesn't fit Seattle's defense. Doesn't have the speed to play center field, and is injury prone.

He needs to be on a team where he can play underneath, and near the box.

Find this guy's agent and see if he has any other clients that we may need...Such a bargain bin signing for an awesome player.

Disappointed we didn't get him and im pretty sure every team who didn't think they could afford him the same.
