Hi all,

As a UK fan, I was fortunate to go out to see my sister in the bay area last year, and she was able to get 2 tickets to the thanksgiving game which we bossed (was fun and the niner fans didn't threaten to kill me which was a bonus).

Anyway, I'm heading over to Seattle for a west coast road trip In October and looking to buy tickets to the home game vs Detroit Lions on Monday 5th October.

I'm a bit apprehensive about buying tickets allocated to "away fans", would love to sit with fellow Hawks. Does anyone know the seating areas of the CLINK I should avoid?

thanks for anyone with the info,

Russ

Being from out of state, when I've traveled for games, I've bought on the visitor side, and although there are fans from the visiting team around, there are still quite a good number of Seahawks fans there as well. Obviously teams like Green Bay, Dallas, etc. have better followings and you will get an increase in their fans, I don't think that will be a huge issue for the Lions game. Prime time games in particular are usually swarming with Seahawks fans.

If the game is against the Lions, I seriously doubt there will be a large contingent of their fans.

I sit in sec 133. From my perspective most opposing fans look to be on the visitors side between the 10 yard lines in the lower bowl.
By all means, enjoy your experience.

It is not like soccer games in Europe where whole sections are designated to away fans. You also won't have a cage around those fans with special security :D

Away fans buy tickets all over the place on external places -- the home side and away side are more because of the team's benches. The home side is where the Seahawk players are..

I personally prefer the visitor side because I want to be in the sun during the fall. Others prefer Seahawks side to see the players up close

And I prefer the home side because it is in the shade during early season games. ;)

That may or may not be a problem in October, though. We seem to be in for a hot summer, maybe a long one.

Thanks all for your input!

The tickets are expensive but this is probably a once in a lifetime chance to see the Hawks play at the CLINK, can't wait to experience the atmosphere :D
