Make all of these horrendous grass fiels into Fieldturf. Pure bush league that teams have to play on garbage like that.

It really was terrible up the middle was literally painted dirt, if they want to help towards player safety they should do something about that

I don't mind grass at all. That field was an abomination though. They should have rolled out some new grass for this game.
It did make the game look really trashy today.

Any grass in cold temperatures is terrible to play on.

Yeah you would think they would have a " pro football" field not a land fill

That was probably the worst I have ever seen a grass field look for a game. It was just awful.

Yo Rog you stinkin' ASS, why don't you do your feakin' job and get this kind of crap taken care of? The fields in Shitcago and Washington are an embarrasment (and there's probabably others I'm not thinking of right now). You do nothing but endlessly talk about player safety and all it is in reality is a bunch of lip service designed to stave off the lawsuits the players from the past are filing against the league. What's it going to take for you to DO YOUR FREAKIN' JOB and get this taken care of? Apparently lawsuits when players get hurt due to horrific field conditions eh? You totally suck as a commisioner.

I was going to say the same, word for word. Nicely done.

One that you're forgetting is that trash field in Toronto. I was relieved when we made it through there without anyone getting hurt.

Bush league and ironically might have back fired with RG3 injury.

Maybe not that bush league considering after Romo fumblerooskie, NFL took procedures to avoid "WET" balls.

That reminds me, 4-0 vs NFC East in the playoffs!

I would say that the raiders half baseball field needs to be taken care of... But that organisation has other things it should probably deal with first

Its football. Its made for teh mud and the guck. Certainly this field wasnt ideal, but i've seen much worse. No big deal.

J, while I like your sentiment it's not 1954 anymore and field turf is good enough that it IMO should be used in all northern tier cities. The game has evolved and fields should too. That would be like saying we shouldn't have replay even though the technology exists to have it now just as the technology exists to have field turf in these stadiums. And any Seahawks' fan that isn't in favor of replay wasn't watching the Testeverde "touchdown" game back in the 90s.

It could have been fixed last monday if the Redskins had wanted to. The fiesta bowl put in new grass a week before the game down in Phoenix and it was ready to play on, no excuse.

There were a few times it was useful... when the Rice and Tate caught the ball on the sideline the grass flying up showed both feet in.
