Different roles/positions. Unless they plan on completely changing philosophies on the D-Line. Think he is nickel DT as a pass rusher next to Bennett. Will also see time as rotational DT in base defense for McDaniel. Basically McDonalds role last year except he is better so probably sees more snaps.

with Irvin Wagz and KJ at LB I'm not worriedabout the run. Plus Bennett is 280+ and will get most those reps at Reds old spot.

Normally I wouldn't put any trust in these unverified sources, but there sure is a lot of smoke about the Hawks getting serious with Melton. Throw in the fact that he didn't get on his scheduled flight and I think there may be some truth to the fact that the Hawks are going all out to sign him before he leaves town.
