A friend wrote this on her facebook page. I am awed by the HAWKZ. WOW.

"So last night Mike got a call from the Seahawks vice Pres. inviting him and a guest to set in the 12th man suite for tomorrows game....our dear friend Carl and his wiffy Susie, wrote to the Hawks about what a #1 fan Mike is.....we have the most amazing people in our life. "

Edited for last names. My school classmate's Husband has been battling a cancer for a few years and is doing ok with it at the moment. Purple Mondays= Pancreatic Cancer.

So glad to see others experience what we also experienced. I can attest to the first class of the Seahawks organization. A few years ago my wife went through her cancer treatments and chemo and we had the opportunity to tour VMAC and meet some of the Hawks and staff. Let's just say the folks at VMAC were absolutely awesome in treating us to a tour, some player introductions (Carroll, Hass) and really gave us some encouragement. Going through chemo treatments (or any kind of cancer) can be more than just losing your hair...it is depressing and mentally rough on a daily basis, but my wife still remembers that day as one that really lifted her spirits. Whether it is Russell donating time at Children's or tours at VMAC, it's really something to see an organization that takes care of the fans who need some help.

I am so appreciative we have such amazing folks involved with this team from Paul Allen all the way to the coaches, staff and players.

My very good friend was a Hawk VP and died of brain cancer. The lengths Paul Allen went to, in seeking a solution to his inoperable strain / situation, was unprecedented (and expensive). Class all the way and he passed away a very grateful, content and happy man. Go Hawks.
