That's ludicrous. This site isn't going to get shut down because users post where they buy their Seahawk gear.

Seahawks.net already has shopping links to eBay and Amazon, which sell unlicensed gear. If eBay and Amazon turn a blind eye to what's *sold* on their sites, nobody is going to care if a user posts a reference in a forum about where they like to buy jerseys.

I'm trying to buy a wolf grey Richard Sherman Limited size XL jersey, no luck. If I find sites that have them they don't work, and the sites that do work don't have that specific jersey. I am willing to pay the hefty $135 price tag + shipping too!

Two quick things here:

2 - I've been approached by a couple of legit retailers asking if we would be interested in placing a link/ad on the site for authentic Seahawks merchendice (with a discount). I've always said no, but would this be something that would be of value to you guys (& girls)?

My answer is YES and also the following

If those guys had a thread they could post coupons in I wouldn't object to this at all. If they don't do online coupons then no issue but if they ever do why not have a thread for it where only they can post and they get to put that info there

I agree with you that they most likely wouldn't be shut down. BUT the site obviously wants to be a fan site and have a good relationship with the team. I am sure the team (and here I mean the front office) wouldn't be to damn happy with fan sites selling unlicensed merchandise / having it promoted there........ not like the site gets shutdown but any inside access that may be enjoyed by the site / key members could easily go away

Besides - legally selling counterfits is illegal. Buying them is not. Allowing for the indirect advertisement is supporting illegal activity and I for one can understand why a few people running this site simply don't want to be involved in that
