I was listening to John Clayton today, and he had a theory that a big reason Seattle did so badly was because they were still suffering from a hangover from an especially brutal game (esp in injuries) from Philly game. He pointed out that we saw that before when Seattle played poorly against the Saints after a short week after the Arizona game when the defense was on the field for far too long.
I wasn't too sure about that until I saw how badly the Eagles are playing tonight. Green Bay has not (and is not) playing very well at all, but the Eagles are flat, flat, flat tonight. It is also worth noting that Arizona has gone into a tailspin (have they won a single game?) since they played that tied overtime game with us.
Just a thought.
