Before the game, I was leaning towards picking STL, because SF is traveling halfway across the country on a short week and is injured. But as I'm writing this, STL looks like crap and SF is starting to run away with it.

Chicago should beat Detroit. The Lions have had an easy schedule so far, which I believe explains their 2-1 record. The Bears have been pass protecting better this year and Cutler is surprisingly playing well.

I can't help you with the other games. They are mysteries to me.

The Steelers age is starting to show. They have no running game because that have no running back and no offensive line. Pig Pen acts like he doesn't care and his receivers don't seem to be putting forth any effort. I don't think Tomlin knows what to do without a number one defense and I'm sure Lebeau is starting to think about retirement to warmer climes.

Their defense is loaded with dinosaurs with the speed of turtles and i doubt that Polamalu makes it through the season.

Minnesota has a pretty good team that's being held back by its Qb but they will still win this one.

Dallas will run for 100+ yards and will win a close one after Rivers collapses again and throws a pick.

I thought Minnesota had a good team being held back by its QB, but then last week happened and they lost at home to the Browns. Their defense is bad.

The only one of those games i'm confident in is San Diego beating Dallas. Dallas is such a roller coaster they were good last week, they have to be bad this week.

My confidence probably means i'm wrong, so put your money on Dallas.

The same can and should be said of the Chargers. Who knows which Cowboys or Chargers teams will show up.

The vikings had that game in the bag and decided to pass the ball instead of running it with the best running back in the world. The same thing happened against Chicago. Their coach should have been fired two years ago. The vikings should be 2-1 at the worst.

The stealers should be battling the Jags for the first overall pick. They look awful.

Minny may start Matt Cassell cuz Ponder is hurt. Normally you'd go with the team playing against the backup. However, in this case..............

If Cassell starts for the Vikings, I think they win.

I aint buying a THING Dallas is selling yet. Great, they ran the ball well against the Rams...everyone else has for a years and a half now. The Rams DL can tackle QB's, only. Dallas has been lucky to play teams which cant throw over 20 yards in the Rams and Chiefs. Rivers and McCoy can and will throw up top and expose Dallas's problem since the dude handed DJack seizures left, safeties. They have NONE.

Detroit and Chicago is an odd one, but the Bears are legit. At least their coach is.

I'm with you on Dallas: but, I think that against the Chargers D, they'll be able to run again. The Chargers will keep it close, as they always do. It will be interesting which team pulls out the close game, as both teams love to choke away leads in the 4th.

I don't believe in Trestman even though the Bears have been significantly better this season. Their O-line is doing a much better job keeping Cutler off his back. But, I also like the direction of the Lions, and I think the Lions will pull it out this week.

Cassell is a confirmed starter for Minnesota and Le'Veon Bell is back for Pittsburgh. However, Tomlin commented that he hasn't watched any tape on Cassell and won't, so who knows. Bet on ADP when it counts, I think.

I believe in Trestman, the guy said Russell Wilson would be an NFL quarterback when he was in high school. I think that makes him the true RW bus driver, right?

I love what Trestman is doing. Using his tight ends, empowering Cutler, the only thing missing in Chicago was some O-line and a coach who was trying to do more than not eff up. They got the O-line help they needed, turned their defensive playmakers loose a bit more, and have not tried to bridle Cutler. Detroit? I am beginning to think Schwartz is truly stupid. Zero desire to really run the ball, and gross mismangement of D-line that is the talent envy of the league. Burleson going down really hurt the Lions last year, so maybe that pick is easier than I thought.

That 2nd paragraph is what I do in the mirror; talk out NFL match-ups to arrive at conclusions. That's what you're suppose to do in the mirror Scotte, not, well what YOU do. That's just gross.

Cin at the Browns? I think dumping Richardson may backfire on the Browns. It's loosened things up for an already VERY underrated and talented roster. I think they win. They got picks to rebuild and still can win some games this year. They're officially a "sleeper".

Jets at Titans. Some short, loud, balding asshole has been telling peeps to keep an eye on the Titans this year. It usually gets lost in between seahawks.net members padding post counts by trolling 49ers, but, still, the Titans have a very physical defense. The Jets at Titans will just be a fun game to watch, physical teams with QB's grinding out long throws and missed bubble-screens. Toss up.

Buffalo's going to upset the Ravens, I believe.

And, the Skins may just be outhustled and "2012 Redskinned" if Pryor plays.

Nah the Browns are bad. They just played an even worse team in Minny last week. Cincy will take them to the woodshed.

The Browns snuck up on a bad Minnesota secondary. Bengals shut down Rogers. Easy one for me.

Jets/Titans. Is Jake Locker the master of winning ugly? If he is, Geno is his young padowan. That game feels like the winner scores 13.

No, they're not. Really, they're just not. Look at that roster, it's just as talented as any of those 2nd tier AFC teams.

They force fed Richardson because of what it cost to obtain him. Their offense has always been the problem and that's why. Now that they're free from that, they can play ball. I still would rather have Jason than Hoyer, but I'm not Norv Turner. Maybe he sees something?

I'm not buying the Browns tank the rest of the year now. They cant, really. They have enough picks to do what they want now.

I love the defensive talent on the Browns, I covet Gordon, Bess is great in the slot, Jordan Cameron is good/great, the O-line needs a couple of guys replaced, but overall that team is loaded.

Chud perplexes me. IDK if the struggles in Carolina can fall at his feet, Cam has to be a handful to coach. But getting away from a great run game in Carolina is definitely on him. I think the trade of Rich/shopping of Gordon is as much message to the rest of the team as draft positioning. Or is it just that the GM, Lombardi, is as dumb in real life as he always seemed to be on the NFL network?

The new NFL features a lot of offensive coordinators who under estimate running persistence. A buncha Jeremy Bates clones, the lot of em, and they are going to make a niche running team like Seattle the outlier team most NFL franchises are not built to stop.

I believe Steve Smith on Chud, he wanted to be a HC. I bet once Chud figured out "umm, this whole Panthers staff will be canned" he auditioned.

Browns have Bengals and Bills at home next two weeks. They may just be 3-2 next week. Very likely.

Browns have talent true at places true. But at all the wrong places. Who cares if you have a great WR and a great TE when the QB sucks? Hoyer lit up a crappy Minny secondary but everyone has so far this year. Richardson getting shipped out and replaced with who McGahee? Don't see that as an upgrade. Defensively they have a lot of good players but just like so many teams around the league the defensive isn't enough to tip the scales in their favor.

I also don't buy Chud as a HC. Turner at OC has a good history but I don't see him turning chicken shht into chicken salad you know?

I don't think they are tanking I just think their front office and ownership are completely clueless.
