Ok.

First - let's just PRETEND they lost because they played so poorly. Then what kind of team are they REALLY and how good are they REALLY - if the 9ers are such a Jekyll and Hyde type team that executes against the Packers and for SOME STRANGE UNKNOWN REASON can't seem to do anything against the Hawks?

Second - why is it such a crazy, far-out, difficult jump for the "experts" that the reason the 9ers didn't execute and didn't play well - is simply because f the defense they were facing. It seems like some are going to
unusual, and almost silly, lengths to excuse this away. Just man up - 9ers admit how good the Hawks are. Doubting Pundits - admit you were wrong and just give the Hawks the credit they deserve.

Funny to me how you are totally forgetting how crappy we looked against Carolina, then came back and played the game of our lives at home against the ninnirs. What makes you think they won't do the exact same thing against Indy next week?

What I saw was pretty consistent. We won both games with great D and so, so offense against some pretty good DLs

According to all the pundits, we only won because of the 12th man. Neutral field, we definitely lose the game....

Nothing to do with our dominant defense.

favorite part of SNF broadcast was Deion going over a highlight of Boldin just givng up on a pass route and assaulting Sherman.. (ending with Bolding headlocking Sherman, letting him go, then shoving him over from behind)

"I'm not sure who is covering who here"

This is why I wanted to see Browner man up on Boldin. Boldin pulls that crap with Browner, and Browner will thug his ass. Just ask Pierre Garcon and Greg Jennings.

I thought Browner was actually going to be a better cover against Boldin than Sherman. Sherm suprised me with how physical he was at the los, and how intelligent he was; many times, Sherman chucked Boldin, then ran his route before Boldin could. I'm not sure Browner would've discerned all of Boldin's routes like Sherman did.
