No doubt this was the weirdest win I've ever watched. Even weirder than the 'phail mary' game.

If you look at Wilson's stat line, he is really efficient. 10/18, 2 TD, 0 INT, 0 fumbles... QB rating of 117.5

You can tell that a big thing he wanted to fix this week is ball security...he admitted as such during his interviews this last week (he even pointed that out on the post-game interview last Thursday). He was battered all day and didn't surrender a single fumble or interception.

I am by no means saying Wilson had a stellar day, but he was efficient and smart enough to trust our defense to win this one for us.

I will take this any day over a QB that throws 5 yards and the receiver than runs 90 to pad the QB's stats for over 400 Yard games. (Stafford maybe) A QB that "passes" for lots of yards is the NFL mantra but not what is best in a QB. Montana/Stabler/Bradshaw seldom had great passing yard games but won with the intangibles.

When he wasn't getting hit in .5 seconds, he was making great throws. There were also two key drops and one nice chunk play called back because of Sweezy's penalty.

Yeah. I wouldn't exactly celebrate Wilson's performance, but yeah: way to go, Wilson!

At least two more passes that should have been completions were the one to Tate that he bobbled and that killer thrown on third down to Kearse that was dropped. Russell didn't take over like normal, but he didn't cost us the game with stupidity. This kid is really smart and I wish these guys would make the catches they should. Rice had one that got away too now that I think about it. I didn't see rusty missing guys. Most of his incompletions, aside of near catches, were throw-aways.

5'10 with no protection, no Sidney Rice for most of the game, no running game or running back being used, WR's dropping the ball, getting hit and sacked multiple times... and he got a win, with no pics, 2 tds.

That is a performance that is better than it looks on paper.
