Just reading the title I can tell Greg Bishop is lazy. Not sure his actual viewpoints and thought process to reach that conclusion but that’s a lazy assessment in my opinion

It was a pretty solid letdown. ' so tell me how the last generation Corvette compares to the current incarnation ' ... ' yeah well you can't really compare them, but they both make you giggle when you floor it so that's a pretty relevant similarity. And that's really important.'

The best part was when he said all these players he contacted said they were looking forward to talking to him about it ... But then it was just Sherm and I can't even remember who else. And he just says basically that's all he really needed... Or they were the only ones that mattered...

The only comp I can make is PPG being about the same. I love that MM gets pissed at giving up garbage points. I think he wants that number under 14 points per game.

Without looking into it I'd say they're not close in Yds/game both passing and rushing or total turnovers. The LOB was locking that $#!+ down. Maybe the sack numbers and QB pressures are close? This defense seems to be special in that category with just a handful of guys doing the heavy lifting.

Still not sure they're ready to be in that convo, but am positive they're going to be THE standard in the NFL (sooner rather than later).

I enjoy being able to take comfort that the historic unit our current defense keeps getting compared to is...another Seahawks defense. I like that much.

But...no. They're not there yet.
