The Rams game you speak of could have easily gone either way.

at the end of day excuses can come and go, but nothing changes that every man on that roster is paid to play the same game.

Lucky doesn't begin to cover it. The 49ers had zero right to be in the playoffs. your players seemed confident regardless of the situation, confident enough to shit talk and stir the pot in the media.

Before the smoke settled the game was decided. Also seattle was a lot better than many people included fans gave them credit for. Its easily forgotten they were literally 3-4 plays from being undefeated the whole season.

I don't know about zero right to be in the playoffs. I said lucky, but they earned the right to be there. Their offense was good all year and it literally came down to week 18 to decide home field. The defense was young and inexperienced and when the injuries started to pile up they dropped off a cliff. 49ers have the second youngest defense in 2026
