Good start. Doesn't mean he'll play Sunday necessarily, but it is great to hear he's not getting surgery and is at least ready for walkthroughs and light work.

We're uber fortunate because generally, when a player's calf is rolled on by a massive lineman like Jones was during the Commanders game, he's out for at least a few weeks and sometimes months. Wow. They must have given him a bionic leg in that tent.

Agreed. I think we will be fine without him against the Cards, let him rest it. Against his former team I want him out there, and you can bet so does he.

Heard somewhere that's the plan: rest him this weekend vs Cards, and have him back in action vs Rams.
