Nothing against those that go, but I've never once had a desire to attend a training camp.

Hey Jazz, I'll be there with my son and daughter. Expect my boy, age 6 to be wearing a RW#3 jersey, me in a #24 T-shirt and my daughter (age 7) in whatever floats her boat. I'll be the one trying to teach them what the Hawks are practicing while my kids are likely searching for four leaf clovers, looking for a genie or making another "movie" script and I am the prop construction guy, director, boom operator, field medic, policeman, fireman, or on a remote possibility, their dad.

I'll be taking pics with a red Nikon, come say hello. I'm an original Net member, but irregular poster. Looking forward to this season and hopefully sharing that excitement to my children who are finally of age!

Cool. I'll look for ya. Haven't decided what I'm wearing yet. My jerseys at this time still consist of ex-players and old color schemes.

Plan on hitting up a couple days next month. Never been to one, have nothing else going on, could be fun to chat up a player if possible. This is a young team, full of eccentric personalities, anything could happen.

If anything it makes for good Podcast fodder.

Training camp can be a very cool experience for fans. I used to go all the time back in the EWSU days. Cheney Wa. I still have a cap that is signed by J. Zorn, S. largent, N. Johnson, C. Young and R. Essink. All singed in person. My most cherished Hawk item. I'm sure it's much different these days. This was back in "83" I think. Hope all y'all have a great time. I'm jealous.

26th, 2nd. Would be at more if this wasn't a busy time of year for me at work.

Taking the kids on July 31st - first time - how hard is it to get autographs for the kids?

There's a little area right at the corner of the building you walk by to enter the practice area that opens up for kids only (with a parent accompanying them allowed) to get autographs after practice. At least, there has been in prior years. Also some players walk over to the sideline where the fence is that separates players from the fans, but that's typically filled with adults.
