I haven't tried directly plugging the phone into the HDMI. I might give that a try.

I am here to serve. And if you have a line to a tablet, you may have that option too. Sometimes they have that available. I got rid of my verizon line for the BS that I was losing, but they wanted it so much that they offered it for the tablet. I am looking for a better option for my phone now.
