I just can't root for the Stealers usually, so go Giants...

Meh, what a shit game, but as an NFL junkie, I've got it on in the background.

I do wish Wilson well, don't get all the hate, nor do I believe he's "washed".

Russ honestly looks good again. He should have a touchdown that got called back bc his right tackle grabbed someone’s facemask

I was mad for a bit, but I wish Russell Wilson nothing but the best nowadays. He's a good guy, even if a bit cringe.

Russ with a nice touchdown on third down. He looks really good and people claiming he only relies on 50/50 balls aren’t watching

Now that we have gotten the picks from Denver, and that period is over, rooting for Russ man.

Although I was pulling for the Giants it was fun watching Russ cook last night. He has hit it out of the park two games in a row now. Maybe that cheap contract is the way to motivate him...except he is collecting a windfall from Denver again this year. So no worries may be the secret.

I had multiple people argue exactly that just this past week.
That's a terrible argument from them, then. Russ was gun shy in most parts of the field, if anything. He notably would only target middle of field with significant separation present. That shows up in his overall aversion to turnovers and, again, is why he needs to be in a ball control offense rather than a pass-oriented attack.

It's someone you usually agree with and I'll leave it at that. I'm not mentioning his name because it always snowballs into ridiculousness lol

But for sure he was/is limited in the middle of the field. I've always contended he made up for that with how good he is pushing the ball down the field. The Steelers lose last night without his ability to do that. He single handedly extended scoring drives with throws maybe no one else in the league makes. Brady had shortcomings too but he made up for it with what he did so well. Manning did too, they all do.

This year they put up his advanced stats( albeit in limited action) and he's been fantastic in the quick game to all parts of the field. Lets see if he keeps it up.

Pete coddled Russ for years and couldn't keep his ego in check. Even though ball control / great run game / stingy defense is what supports and suits him best.

Tomlin would not put up with Mr. Unlimited alter ego. LRC hero ball ego comes out and he would bench Russ in a heartbeat. Pete wouldn't even bench Russ when he was playing with broken fingers. 20/40 passes vs GB in a 0-17 blowout loss.

Russ needed the disciplinarian coach, and that team looks to be a good fit for him. They have a damn good receiver there also who's winning those 50/50 balls.

Will see how he does in the playoffs vs playoff level defenses. If their run game continues to dominate, he won't have to play hero ball.

From a Seahawks perspective, I want the NY football Giants to lose . Don't we want NFC teams to lose ?
