Having Kittle in Seattle would be a waste amount of Cap Space for the Seahawks.
RW doesn't need any superstar TE, and he even make scrubs look good.
Past TE's: Luke Wilson, Zach Miller, Nick Vannett, Ed Dickson, Will Dissly, Hollister, Graham,
Most of those TE's never looked good. Only Miller, Dissley and Graham, which two of those guys happen to be former probowlers before arriving on the Seahawks -- Graham being an all-pro. Graham and Miller both under performed on the Hawk's compared to their previous teams, though that was on the OC.
A good TE is absolutely needed on the Seahawks. Schottenheimer in particular loves utilizing TE's in the pass game, unlike Darrell Bevell who pissed away the potential of two very good pass catching TEs in Graham and Miller. Schottenheimer utilizes TE's much better and he has made them a large part of his offense since arriving. Dissely when healthy was essentially our number two WR and huge endzone threat. We used him in the slot occasionally, on the line, we loved sending him in motion. There is a good reason why Seattle drafted and signed a bunch of TE's this offseason.
If there is one thing Schottenheimer knows how to do, it's making good usage of his TEs.
