24/30, 233 Yards with a 7.8 avg, 1 TD, 0 INTs, 0 Sacks.

You're right, he sucked.
Who said he sucked? He played fine but something seems a little off with him. Hes a little hesitant and seems afraid of turnovers. I like that he’s taking the checkdowns instead of forcing the ball but it also feels like it’s neutered him a little. He just seems in a little bit of a mental slump and if he gets that part back I think the offense explodes down the stretch.

Darkvictory you seem to take any critical points on Geno personally.

Ok, I'll see myself out. Let me know when you decide to post those super-secret analytics that showed Russell Wilson was really good last year.

I didn't see anyone say he sucked, but I did see JPatera say he was SHIT and TRASH (yes, in all caps).

Also, he gets ripped to shreds by some here every time he throws a pick, regardless of the circumstances surrounding the pick, but now he "seems off" because he's being a bit more careful with the ball?

Again, some of guys are just looking for any reason at all to criticize Geno. You could pick apart every QB in the league the way you guys pick Geno apart.

Again man not sure why you’re getting personal or super upset about this discussion. You’re normally more reasonable than some in this debate but seem pissed after a big win. You do you I guess.

He does seem a little hesitant to me. Maybe I’m wrong. In understand why he’s doing it and I like it on some levels but I think the best geno is a little more gunslinger and maybe he’s working towards finding that balance. No one is shitting on him and no one is trying to wreck @DarkVictory23 ’s night by pointing that out.

This debate is goofy, I actually gave Geno some props and people still get wildly emotional about it, it’s weird to me but regardless we won today.

hey it works this week okay?

also i agree with ozzy Geno def seems like he's in some mental slump. Scared to run, scared to get hit, scared to throw an int. Ball gets snapped he turns and goes back 10+yrds instead of as simple drop back he drops WAAAAAAAAAAAAY back. Or when its a handoff for the run, screw letting the rb get to him he runs back to the RB leading to the RB getting blown up. Geno's mentally slumping currently and its showing. regardless of what the stat sheet says the eye test shows me otherwise. Especially with him refusing to run lately.

This was a great game by Geno. He took the checkdowns and got rid of the ball without a turnover OR a sack.

Great stuff. 33 to 27 time of possession. Highest point total of the season without a defensive score. This is the kind of play that will get us into the post-season and keep us competitive with any team in the league.

The only people I see getting "wildly emotional" about it are the people calling Geno things like shit and trash in all caps.

I'm not sure how pointing out Geno's stats, in a thread in which he's being criticized for his play today, is "wildly emotional". That actually seems quite reasonable to me.

"All game over throwing and under throwing with the exception of a couple passes"

"Actually he had an 80% completion rate today"

OMG! WILDLY EMOTIONAL!

Hey, how about you don't quote me and @ me if all you're going to do is try and call me emotional?

Like, seriously, I said I was out of this thread, so leave me out of it. It's clear you aren't capable of debating anything Geno related (which is really anything Russ related, which basically every Seahawks topic with you is Russ related), so when I said I was out, try and respect that.

And I completely disagree with your opinion that he's in some sort of mental slump or that he's playing scared. The short throws and check downs were very effective today. Taking advantage of that isn't playing scared. It's playing smart and not taking unnecessary risks. I thought that's what the Geno "haters" wanted, but now that he's doing that, he's getting criticized for that too. It's kinda almost like people are just going to make up reasons to criticize Geno no matter what he does. Oh well.

First of all it’s the game day forum, it’s designed for people to let loose during the game, you understand this right?

I’d argue that after the fact when someone points out a small issue with Geno and the response is “yeah Geno sucks” as if that is even remotely close to anything I said as emotional.

So again since you didn’t seem to get it…. No one said Geno sucked when we were discussing him (which is where you jumped in). I simply said I like that Geno isn’t forcing throws and causing picks but my worry is him being so worried about picks is neutering him a little bit and when he strikes that perfect balance the offense is going to explode: that causing you and dark to have massive issues with my post does seems odd to me.

I love this place but man people get so emotionally attached to a side that having a fun discussion is hard.

@IndyHawk and me have wildly different opinions on Russell Wilson yet we still laugh and give each other crap about it in good fun. That’s the way it should be.

You’re still missing my point although you’re free to disagree. I’m not criticizing him taking the check down and have now said it 3-4 times yet you keep repeating the same thing. I don’t think you really want to get it though and would rather bury yourself in this us vs them debate.

For the 5th time. I think the best Geno is what he’s doing now but a little more gun slinger and he’s close. What he is right now is much better than leading the league in picks so I’ll take it. The Geno we said in the first half of 22 is the Geno that is smart with the football but pushes it down the field, I hope he’s trending in that direction.

Does that sound like Geno hating to you or do you want to keep repeating the same thing over and over?
