It looks like a combo of I have to get the ball out as fast as possible and also like he isn't comfortable with the system. Also looks like there's a defender in his throwing lane every other play.

I don't think he looks scared, but I do think he's probably pretty frustrated already because the pass protection has been heinously bad so far.
