Don’t believe everything on the internet. That’s a screen grab from a 1985 movie called ‘Twice in a Lifetime’. Filmed in Snohomish. Hackman’s character is a huge Hawks fan, and there’s at least one scene in the Kingdome.

Interesting, I didn't know about that movie, I'll have to see if I can find it now.

I haven't seen that movie either, but it couldn't be any worse than the Seahawks representation in "Draft Day"; trading away the #1 overall pick in a draft with an elite QB prospect whose birthday party everyone totally went to, only to later give those picks back to an idiot who used that #1 overall pick to reach for an off-ball linebacker (and also used the #7 pick on a 70s style bruiser RB), to move back up one spot, while also trading away the indispensable David Freakin' Pudney.

At 1:13:00 they go to a game in the Kingdome, there's a brief shot of the original "Blitz" mascot. Man, some nostalgia in some of the scenes of Seattle back in the mid 80's when I lived there as a kid.

Hackman used to have a house on San Juan Island.

According to his Wikipedia page he was a Jags fan.

No way man. Huge Hawks fan.

Maybe he was around the time of that movie. Hawks were pretty miserable when the Jags joined the league, making it easier to jump. Too bad he would have missed out on the best years to follow whatever it is the Jags have been doing the past decade and a half.

At least he lived long enough to see Trent Baalke get fired.

-- Did you guys not see Draft Day part Deux? The LB Vontae Garrett gets tired of being on a bad team and demands a trade. The workhorse running back Ray Chubb is great, but becomes injury prone, and although the QB the Seahawks got, Bo Wilson, is full of himself and not a good leader, he wins a Super Bowl on the shoulders of one of the greatest defenses of all time.

-- In fact, it all backfired so much on the Browns GM Sonny Dutton, I heard he moved to Montana and owns a ranch.

-- What that movie actually shows, although not intended, is just how you can be the star in April, but still suck September through January.

It's funny that people can call out the falsity of this, rather easily, but would rather just not of....other things. Boggles my mind!
