Okay that was ugly


Defense had some major issues


Oline still sucks

For whatever reason the coaching staff kept taling Wilson out of the game

He was only 14 for 20 196 yards 2 tds, 70%complt and 134 qb rating despite 2 drops and the fumble on screen that went for over 10
Yet he only got 20 passes and was taking out for long stretches.

Carson had some good some bad.

Lockett some good some bad.

DK 89 yards and PI call. Great debut.

THE GOOD. We won

THE BAD. The game plan on both sides.

THE UGLY. Because we won they will not change anything on offense

I will give the o-line a pass this time. They lost the center and the second string was also hurt. We have a guy playing center who has not done so since college. From my understanding the center calls line assignments. So I cna understand problems there.

The o-line shapes the offense. I think we saw some good things otherwise.

The pass rush is what took Wilson out of the game. Not enough time to do anything. The CInci d-line got tons of penetration clogging all plays up.

It was ugly but a week one win for this team is huge.

The defense I think needs a little bit of time to gel but I can see good things coming. Shaquill G looked better than usual. CInci seemed to pick apart our zones. Flowers still looked like a rook but the potential is there. I am concerned about our free safety though.

Sure we need to clean up a few things but I still feel good.

Ahh Britt only missed 1 play, and. Could not block 5 on 4. Then add in all the long routes that took forever the QR needed quick hitters. Unfortunately PC said he does not like dinking and dubking which is what we needed today. Take what they give, that's what NE does and why the win.

Bengals overall were bad on defense last year, but they have some hogs up front, and that's who was wreaking havoc.

Coaching staff didn't have a typical game plan. The team had no film on their new offense or defense.

Hawks made a l lot of mistakes but never gave up.

This was classic Pete Carroll winning in the 4th quarter.

Bungles played 5 man line on D, then added outside help.

It did take us a bit too long to exploit that.

I guess I was not paying attention enough to know Britt came back in. I am a bit more worried then. At least we struggled and got a win. I would rather win while struggling to figure things out. The better side to be on.
